I hear Davide Somma is back in light training and hoping to be back playing in the New Year. Do you think he can help Leeds get promoted this season?

Really rate him myself, would love to see him back in the squad especially since our strikers are not scoring.

Won't be fit till march April and will probably go out on loan to get fit

There is a total enforced black out by the club on Davide Somma's progress, after his Twitter revelations last summer - so I have no idea where the O/P got the idea Davide is in light training? Even his dad can't or won't say.

I'm pretty sure Simon said himself last week that Somma was back doing some light running.

Light running is just the start of a very long road to recovery for Davide. He will be looking at weeks before he starts putting the knee through any serious running with twisting and turning, with another couple of weeks again before he can do ball work and actually take part in training with the lads. I would say April at best for a return for Somma and at that he wont be up to the required fitness levels. But yes he would certainly be doing some LIGHT running in staright lines, and lots of swimming pool running
