'Come and get me', eh Kewell? As Gino says, careful what you wish for. Let us know where you're staying and we'll form an orderly queue, you tasteless, heartless, money-grabbing c.nut

Come home JB, you know you're Leeds!!!

HMM, eight new players, now that will be interesting. I think NW is well able to play the media, he said he hadn't spoken to the new owners then said "you would be foolish not to have assurances ". How do you get assurances if you haven't met the new owners.... and in a previous interview he said they were "good people " so the more I hear the more confused I get. Honest to god it would make you pull your hair out, its not easy being a Leeds fan.
Still I like the sound of eight new players, hope that one is true.

I count 19 players other than the crocks and the transfer listed if he brings in 8. (Think 8 is wishful thinking over two weeks - if this happens leeds fans would be amazed)
A smaller squad of of this number is always better than a large squad.

I would have thought that a squad of 22 or 23 is what is required, obviously that is 2 for each position (ignore players who can play in a number of positions, you can't depend on having them at the right time) and 3 goalkeepers.
Let's face it, on matchday you would see 18 players on the teamsheet, only one over to allow for injuries is way too few! The Prems 25 men squads is probably about right!

Apparently Austin has confirmed he's going to Leeds and has said goodbye to fans...

When did the noggies get tv? :duno:

Some rumour article I skimmed earlier today hinted at us getting Charlie Austin...are we trying to corner the market on Austins?
Helplessly hoping

Some very interesting comments there by you all so far.
I say another striker & attacking midfielder & 1 holding center player, should be about right for a few months until NW gets his hands into some more pies :)

Just seen this 1 too

According to the Sunday Mail, two Scotland strikers could swap Championship clubs, with Leeds United's Ross McCormack and Brighton & Hove Albion's Craig Mackail-Smith linked with a change.

Austins were great cars, until British Leyland took them over...
Austin Mini and the Cooper version. Austin 1100 - and the luxurious Austin A90 Westminster, which had all the class of a Bentley, but at ½ the price.
Even the first BL Austins were OK. The Allegro being a good cheap priced car.
