Great gesture from our club

Post by rich_leeds64 »

With the departure of Chris Wood Radz has spoken about it and one of his points was that anyone who had purchased a new home or away shirt and had the name Wood printed on the back could return the shirt and get it exchanged free of charge. Another great gesture imo to try and keep the fans "onside"

Nice thing was that the club did it without any prompting from a disgruntled fans group or suchlike, just identified that there were loads of people who had shelled out hard earned on a shirt for the season which was now useless and dealt with the situation, classy move. Also donating returned shirts to charity I believe.

So they're saying if you have Wood they have a solution

Greedy Bates would have been anticipating extra revenue expecting fans to purchase replacement shirts :roflmao:

you make a good point Leon , at the beginning of each season Bates would ring the club shop to find out which players name had so;ld the most shirts and then sell him so the fans had to buy another £50 + £1 a letter shirt = leeds united are pleased to announce the signing of polish international jo szwertswertzoikjiestrk (on loan ) :roflmao: :roflmao: :roflmao: :roflmao:
