Some decent posts on the Reading forum, worth a read
Indeed. A lot of posts there from obviously knowledgeable fans who are capable of assessing their side dispassionately.

Home counties....goes without saying.
I wanted to flash this watch, I flash it all the time. It's my antique pocket watch and it makes me look British...and I need that for my analysis. It is a gorgeous gold pocket watch however and I'm very proud of it. You see my grandfather, on his death bed, ..sold me this watch!

Having no real passion for your club must be an aid to objectivity.

I'm Yorkshire born and Home Counties raised. I don't believe there's any such thing as objectivity.

Ooh, I don't know... speaks to the interconnectedness of all existence, to me. Be more of a shame if we really were Cartesian little egos, floating about in isolation.

More Groucho Marx than Descartes or Kant

From a poster on the Boro' forum

"This is a Leeds team that have laboured to win in a fair number of games this season, they've not blown anyone away until today.

They're a decent side, but we made them look like world beaters.

Final Score were describing it as Premier League against Non-League, that's how bad we were"

Even the fair-minded baggies fans saying it wasn't a penalty

Many disappointed with West Brom's performance

One giving 5/10 to every single player

They should be embarrassed accepting that pen, Corrupt EFL should be looking at it and banning the Baggie player but just checked and they don’t have Leeds anywhere in their name so guessing the CEFL won’t bother

All teams will 'get away' with decisions but WBA have been awarded penalties in the dying minutes of many games this season of which at least 1 (last night) was a piss poor decision and I bet the others were dubious but its becoming very familiar in their games and it was the only way they were going to score as in the 2nd half they were poor and Preston had some good chances to score and WBA keeper kept them in it. Officials at this level are atrocious and more than likely corrupt but what do they care if it stops LUFC getting promotion. Its the only time they referee a big game when Leeds are involved.
