Is there a greatest pigeon who ever lived?

It's a 365 day hobby john
My mate in the early eighties was on strike
He had three young daughters
And the miners strike was taken its toll
He lived up in Shilbottle and fancied one of mine to win
So I give him the money to send them.
He won the up north combine against 16,991,
A brand new Astra
And sold the bird I give him
To massarella pigeon world for 12k in the 80s
Worth a mention , the Dutch 74/78 side , the Hungarian 50's side . Trouble sometimes is that these didn't have the mass coverage every angle of today's coverage , everything scrutinised now , you can't with the pre 80's . Same with players of those era's , even our own great Leeds side .Muppet the Cat wrote: ↑Thu Nov 26, 2020 8:49 pm Absolutely no doubt whatsoever !
The 1982 team can't be far off being 2nd best as well![]()
What a player, that stat left me open mouthed. Even if he is not the greatest, he certainly is one of the greatest players to ever play the game.
