Adam Forshaw looks set to miss the rest of the season after suffering a knee injury in training.

He is to undergo scans today as the medical team fear is a dislocation

At least we have Phillips back but what a season this is turned out to be, I am surprised that Amnesty International have not raided Thorp Arch looking for evidence of torture

It’s a shame for the lad he seems like a great character and a shame his Leeds career looks to have ended with an injury - can’t say I’m too worried by his absence from a football perspective we have Philips back and it’s overkill for me to have them both in the starting 11

Not as worrying now Phillips is back, but having competent backup is crucial should something happen to Phillips. Phillips does have a red card in him from time to time and is injury prone (heck they say, somewhat paradoxically, that most injuries happen within the first few games of returning from injury).

It's all very well saying its okay as Phillips is back but he's only made 2 second half sub appearances so can't be fully match fit yet.
I wouldn't be surprised if JM starts him on the bench again against Palace.

Then we will need Dallas in centre mid...

If we go down probably nowhere but can’t seriously look to progress unless we bring quality in if we stay up

I can't see KP not being ready to start given the minutes he had and then not having any matches for the last couple of weeks. Might be that he struggles towards the end but I would expect him to start and last at least 70 minutes if not the full match.

Regardless, still a great squad player to have or sub. Has very little resale value so no point in getting rid

Getting a little annoying. When is his contract up?

Summer 2023, but the club have an option to extend it to 2024.

You'd hope that they would let him go in 2023 as surely by our 4th Premier League season we will have moved beyond Adam Forshaw?

But we all know he will come back for the final 5 games, make a few tackles and passes back and sideways and get a 12month extension.

Stubbed his toe after sneaking home after curfew and trying to make it to bed without turning on any lights (probably).

I'm fine with Forshaw as a player. But his injury record is abysmal. I'd release him at the end of the season, regardless of performances. We should be looking to upgrade every season. And I'd rather see Gyabi getting a look in at this point.
