Kalvin good enough for scum's scouts, despite their hundreds of millions, but some think he isn't good enough for England and Rice is better

Like Grealish has ? He would have to sign for a London club, Manchester or liverpool if he has England listed amongst his goals

I wouldn't be surprised to see him in the next squad. I'm so bored of seeing average sideways passing midfielders in the England team who do nothing.

One superb cross v QPR that Ayling headed way over the bar into the South Stand plus the wonderful chip pass to Roberts who should have done much better as hit his shot into the kop

Tackles, interceptions, creates goal chances......what a player

60 won tackles of how many attempted tackles..and who are his competitors?

Not a great stat that for Ben White either is it, if he's only made half the tackles Kalvin has ...He's only been half as good

Ben White may have won 59 tackles

His competitors would be the rest of the defenders/defensive midfielders in the championship I assume

It says twice as many than any other Leeds player.Which means White is 30 tackles or lower.

For that stat to mean anything you have to correlate playing minutes at the defensive mid position with other DMF's. Like most stats it paints a very small part of a whole picture..They're basically meaningless without context.

Maybe being in the position that Kalvin is in means he has the opportunity to tackle before White does. Its great to know that if anyone gets through Kalvin they then have the task of getting through Ben.

Hopefully Paddys goal and assist can spur him on a bit - if not then we need to sign a proven attacker in Jan and get Pablo back on form and we go up behind West Brom.

Picked up his fifth booking today, suspended for the trip to Huddersfield now.

Looks like Berra will come into defence and White will play defensive midfield in that game after the late subs today.

Belated Happy 24th birthday (2nd December) to our very own Yorkshire Pirlo, Kalvin Phillips. 🎂

Phillips has won more tackles (70) than any other Championship player this season. 👊

162 club appearances 👏
11 goals ⚽️
10 assists 🎯
Valued in excess of £30m 💷

Thriving under Marcelo Bielsa. 🔥
