87% of the time they do simply make them up but only 34% of people know that.

Kalvin deserved a MOTM award for that performance if not for the display of the big man behind him who was equally immense.

The three P's Pontus, Pablo & Phillips are without doubt our three best/class players & deserve their place in the first team every game

Great read on Prutton's views on Kalvin Philip's. He has the young man down for a top player this season and more to come hopefully in the colours of Leeds United. And at the very top we hope too.

I was particularly interested in his comments on Kalvin's character and professionalism, and how he likes to have the game in front of him.

Hopefully Marcelo sees the same qualities, and doesn't leave him on the bench or at CB.

I scored Kalvin for the assist v Swansea, for the first goal. I know Alioski was mentioned as having two but I'm giving it to Kalvin

No coincidence our mini slump when he was suspended/not picked v Norwich. Now KP is back the Rolls Royce is moving into cruise champions control

Not only me though SG

A good pal on our away coach said me today "Kalvin will play for England Leon" now who have you heard that line from previously

30 votes out of 44 for MOTM on our coach

And from a very well known site :

Just as easy to say that since we started scoring we have won games, Bamford found a bit of form for example. KP did of course play against QPR...

I do like KP but far too simple to just say that he is the main difference (although Forshaw was hugely too blame for 2 of Norwich's goals). Glad he is back but it is a team performance.

Been saying since he broke into the first team one say he’ll be our captain, I must admit I did think it was as an attacking midfielder but where ever the plays he puts 110% in and yes every now and again there's a red card in there but how many of our legends didn't have that in their game

Kalvin provides a steady influence in front of Pontus & Cooper who in turn feel happier with Casilla behind them between the sticks, KP's reading of the game has improved immensely. Having Bamford upfront is a plus too.

Phillips is such a unassuming likeable young man.

Doesn't look for any glory.
Never see him diving to the ground at the slightest touch.
No argument from him when he was sent off at Forest, in fact he showed humanity as he apologised to the player he had taken out prior to leaving the pitch.
Accepts his managers decision to sub with grace him when a tactical change is required.
A thoroughly nice proper footballer who wears the white shirt of Leeds with pride.

Take the physical stuff out & football becomes a nancy's game. I like players that get stuck in.

Kalvin has matured into a top footballer under the shrewd management of Marcelo, his place should never be in doubt especially for our injury-prone bearded wonder. I suspect Bielsa realises that now!

I'll add

Still lives in Farnley
Still hangs around with his mates from school
Same girlfriend that he had at school
Looks after his mum and siblings

All round good Leeds lad
