each week the ukulele underground sets a challenge... this week was all about Autumn and the fall... so I did a cover of a matt berry Song called October sun... and stitched together some misty footage that I had recorded some time ago to make a video. beats and percussion were put together from GarageBand loops.

All done via Zoom 64.
The Zoom course is actually lot better than the classroom one that I did about 5 years ago.
The guy taking the course was very good as well.
I'm now under the threat of death from my missus not to get caught again.

Not today......but last weekend.

Went conkering

Nothing takes you back to being a kid or is as satisfying as chucking sticks up into a tree to see what comes down.

My excuse is that my wife is a teacher and she wanted them for school ;-)

top-bar-hive.jpg
My friend holds a small holding 10 acre's...and wants to keep bee's starting next spring... I always knew how important Bee's are to the eco system, but untill I read some last week I had no idea just how important...so found some plans, I am going to build these and we will place them on his acreage.

Happened to be coming down the Mountain that day at Stickle Tarn in Langdale (the second bit). What a sight we were greeted with. It was very, very loud. Altho i guess if you are laid up somewhere in need of urgent medical assistance the sound would be reassuring. Carrying the equipment up must have been a grind.
