Booked an additional holiday in Cornwall next year as we missed out in late June

Enjoy
Cheers 64 🙂

Btw, St Ives is a lot busier than usual for this time of year.
Everything needs to be booked too, shop, cafe & restaurant-wise.

I guessed it would be Finn

We always book the first three dinner meals at our favourite restaurants weeks prior to our holidays in St Ives. I suspect parking is a similar nightmare even worse than it generally is :(

Apparently holidays bookings in the UK are three times higher than previous years

We'll just have to adapt somewhat on our two visits next year

I like it Rab. I can confirm my sleep is rudely interrupted on at least one occasion thru the night. Please tell me it doesn't get any worse. :)

I'm treating the other half today. First its a trip to the York designer outlet where i will do my best to discourage her from spending. Followed by a budget stay in the PI in Harrogate and a meal at Gino's, who are still offering the help out to eat out deal so i will save myself a few bob there. Its the thought that counts.

with age you have to follow Billy Connolly's advice, namely, if you get a chance to pee then do it, also if you get an erection use it, and finally never trust a fart.

Sounds like a great day 1000  Premier Inns are excellent nowadays, we've stayed in the Manchester & Cannock ones & was very happy with them. We love Harrogate :)

All went well 64. We ended up going to a Restaurant called Lucia. Nice gaff. I have never stayed in a PI so quite never heard a door slam even in the morning. I think we were the only people in there. Its right next to the Hilton Majestic in Harrogate. I'm glad i'm not paying the gas bill for that place.

Someone recommended Lucia to us, we must try it when we're next in Harrogate, I enjoy a good Italian.

Glad you had a good time!

I was in Crete and a friend was walking along the beach picking up stones
or large pebbles... she was looking for the perfect pebble. It had to be oval
smooth and as wide as the palm of her hand. She said once she found it she
would carry it with her where ever she went. It was a stone to remind her of
perfect mornings and that by touching it... it would relieve any stress she was
experiencing.

Why do you collect stones is it for the colour or the shape, or to make a collection,
or for some comfort?
