Another belter. The State Violence/State Control single from around the same time is brilliant as well.
Playlist over the last week.

Re: Playlist over the last week......
I don't feel angry anymore.
Rarely come across anyone who knows it - underrated, as you say.
Looks like there's a new Rudimentary Peni EP out...
Re: Playlist over the last week......
Yeah, really looking forward to hearing the Peni release (that sounds wrong ).
I've only read a couple of brief snippets about it but I'm really surprised they're doing new stuff. Nick Blinko has been concentrating on his visual art and drawings for many years now and is obviously affected by mental health issues. I had read somewhere a while ago that his visual art helps as a release but he gave up the music because it was tough on his mental health but maybe that isn't accurate.
Did you buy the book of his works recently? I forgot to order and missed out. My mate got a copy and has already been offered several hundred quid for it (he's not selling).
Re: Playlist over the last week......
No, I'd not followed what he was doing, and wasn't aware of his problems, so I'm just approaching it as a blast from the past. The EP sounds good. Just realised my cousin would have been his local vicar at the time of the release of Death Church. Small world.

A fitting tribute. I think i will be dropping it in to a few conversations going forward.Durly wrote: ↑Thu Apr 08, 2021 10:22 pm There was a story from the news recently, can't remember exactly what, think it might have been one of the many sickening examples of ministers' unqualified cronies making shed loads of money from PPE contracts. On the Radcliffe and Maconie show on 6Music that weekend, Maconie commented on the story with the words...."didn't Flux Of Pink Indians name an album after this?"
