So if anything gets close to Rina Mushonga's - In a Galaxy I'm going to be very shocked..there are hints of Yaysayer at their best (and all All Our Cymbals is their best) but taken to the the next level

Having said that nothing will come close to Rina, the Better Oblivion Community Centre's eponymous debut certainly is.

Conner Oberst and Phoebe Bridgers are no strangers at creating quality music but they really work well together. Love the raw vocals

Currently at #3 is Karen O's collaboration with Danger Mouse, very trippy and chilled out

This morning I downloaded Aldous Harding - Designer. Played it 3 times today, love it, can't wait for it to be released on vinyl.
Speaking of the wonderful 4AD - ave you had a go at the new Big Thief album? Another that may make my top 10 end of year

The Harding is very good, not 100% if it's your thing but try the Rina Mushonga too

While I'm here The Cinematic Orchestra (To Beleive) and the wonderful Weyes Blood's new album (Titanic Rising,) worth checking out. Been folowing Weyes since her collaboration with Ariel Pink on a Russian Doll track

Favourite album so far this year is Fontaines DC "Dogrel". Whilst it is nothing particularly original or new, there are still some big riffs and good influence from surf rock in the guitars.

Yes, the Big Thief album is very good, actually on my to buy list, not been listening to much at all over the last 6 weeks though but will have a listen to your recommendations soon.

Not heard much of Karen O, except kids were watching a film earlier in the year, I liked the soundtrack which was Karen O.

A new one I do like is from She Keeps Bees- Kinship.

If you dig modern soul with a nod to the 60s and 70s, then check out Durand Jones and the Indications 'American Love Call'. Getting played at least once a week in this house
