I can honestly see us not winning another game

How many times have I said that in previous seasons, I hope I'm wrong but on current form we look more like mid-table fodder rather than promotion candidates

We look shot & dead in the water !

We need to press the reset button, get back to where we were. There is no reason we should fear any team. Yes we blew our biggest chance at promotion in a long time, but our next one is justvaround the corner.
Bielsa going on to the pitch to the players will mean a lot, he’s not one to do that, so when he does it has to have an effect. He has to change something.
I have to admire your optimism dezzy but you must be watching a different team to me

We're gone mate, three of our last five matches we've been really awful. The current side resembles last season's team only playing Blelsa's style football at a much poorer standard than in his first six months at Leeds.

Roll on next season !

I would like to play against Boro because they are not that good in attack too. It's gonna be one goal difference match. If we somehow get to the final we will need something new to get the win so Bielsa have to make changes right away.Rotaion and freshness is necessary.

Do you think we have any chance of going through versus Derby, Bristol Or Boro?
Villa or West Brom in a potential final? I wouldn’t fear any of them, they all could beat us, will beat us if we don’t get our spark back, but we certainly can beat all of this in the play offs

Bielsa needs to heavily rotate players for the remaining two games. Give others a chance to show what they can do, show the starting eleven that their place in the play-off team isn't promised.

Let's not forget that a play-off place at the start of the season was not on the cards at all. We've exceeded all expectations and are playing in a way that is, for the most part, exciting and energetic. Nobody can accuse these players of not caring, and when was the last time we could say that about a Leeds team?

Get behind the team now, as we have done all season. MOT.

We tend to play better against those teams on bigger pitches too !

My major fear is : have our players got the mentality & enough left in the tank to see out three games? I don't think they have as too many of our squad look shot imo !

We are nowhere near the same team that were thrashing the likes of Stoke (h) Derby (h) & (a) & West Brom (h), that reason alone is a major concern for me !

I really can't see us getting that spark back, it's like a horse running a race once it loses it's momentum it takes time for the thoroughbred to regain it's past form

We'll know our fete for certain by the time we play Villa so yes wholesale change need to be implemented, we can't be showing our hand to one of our play-off contenders in a meaningless match.

You say get behind the team, unsure you can question that as whatever words are said on forums whether it be positive or negative makes no difference.

Our 1,600 support at Brentford were magnificent last night where the 'Hernandez/Casilla' song must have been sung for a good thirty minutes prior & at the start of the game, then at the end when we all realised our fete the players walked off looking totally dejected to a volume of sound to 'Oh Leeds United we're so delighted we chose you as our football team'. Totally proud of our fans last night, such a shame our players can't replicate our fans dedication.

Fair point, can’t argue that we’re not on the back foot, we are big time. But sport is a funny old beast, momentum can swing on the smallest of things and a play off after throwing away the autos could focus the mind. We’ve shown we can do it against the best teams,

New and of course frustrated member to this forum. what a nightmare weekend, I had dealt with my despair on Friday so whilst yesterday was painful it wasn't the same level of despondency as Friday. I dont think the teams energy levels have dropped I think the team were just desperate to score and that desperation when it wasn't happening turned in to frustration which ultimately led to us forgetting our principles and made making mistakes inevitable.

It is hard to look at the playoffs with any optimism thats for sure but i think we may get a good performance vs villa now there is no pressure and hopefully sign off the regular season with a win vs Ipswich which will at least take us in to the playoffs on a good run.

I will be dissapointed to see the same team put out on Sunday, I know its a bit late but id give izzy brown a run out in our next 2 games in place of Roberts, get Hernandez in the middle and maybe Shackleton on the right and Bogusz on the bench. Drop Clarke altogether.

One thing for sure is that MOT seems to have inherited a bunch of new members to air their frustration!

Welcome all!

Welcome new people :)

Having thought about it.

We can win the playoffs.

Nobody to be afraid of.

Teams having good runs of form, sod em, we have been in promotion contention since game 1.

Never dropped out of the playoffs, barely out of the top 2.

Yes we have struggled recently but everyone has struggled.

Villa, WBA, Derby,Boro, Bristol City, whoever.

And we've beaten all of them apart from Boro (didn't lose).

So lets end Villa's winning streak and have potentially 3 teams in the playoffs who we have done the double over!!!!!

Nothing to fear from any of them.

He played a 65 game season with Bilbao when they got to the finals of the Copa del Rey and the UEFA Cup. They lost both with a small squad, which gave rise to the burnout theory, as they were the best side in Europe in February.

Yeah have to agree 64 , when was the last time we were convincing in a game ? Since the West Brom game there hasn't been a game that you felt comfortable of the 3 Points . We seriously can't have the amount of Possession and chances and come away with bugger all goal conversion ratio , the strikers we have a very poor .
We do deserve to be in the Play offs but i'm preparing myself disappointment have no idea where the goals are going to come? even if we went to Penalty shoot out we suck at that .
All in all i'm very proud and grateful of the Season we have had , the Highs have been amazing but the lows have been to painful.

I think our biggest obstacle will be keeping Biesla for another Season , if given the proper investment we should do it next Season as he now knows what a Championship Season is all about.

Maybe we won't need to worry about the playoffs :)

Its 99% certain we will but yaa neverrr knowwww.

Strange things happen in footie ball.

The best home side in the league losing to the worst away side after the latter had 10 men for most of the game.

League leaders Norwich dropping points at home to Reading a few weeks ago.

Or how about Ipswich.

Draws away vs WBA and Bristol City and at home against Norwich and Blades.

As ridiculous as it sounds this is a ridiculous league.
