Pontus won't be here.
He'd better be !

That's one of the reasons where we went wrong last term going through a long old season with only two recognised CB's we need to be building on our squad not breaking it up.

I hope I'm proved wrong mate, but I can't see it sadly.

Unless a Prem team come in for him, I very much doubt he's going anywhere.

Fair play young man.

Very assured debut.

Still concerned about aerial duels (suspect he lost more then he won but not sure).

But was very calm, read the game well, not the most taxing debut against a very isolated Diediouh but a good start all the same.

White reminds me of Rio Ferdinand in his pomp at Leeds

White had a fine debut. Not being critical but I wasnt that convinced when we went three at the back when they brought on a second striker, but it was during that "wobble" that went through the whole side.

He has done enough to cement his place in the starting 11 on Saturday but obviously the boss will have his own thoughts on that as Berardi is available. Berardi will want game time too after his aberration in the playoff match.

Great tackle on Canos I think at the end of the first half when it looked like he'd be clean through on goal.

I wouldn't read too much into the passing stats, he played well within himself in that respect. Most if not all were the easy option today and there's nothing wrong with that but it does boost the stats

Will be a premiership CB by the time Bielsa has waved his magic wand on Ben
