Re: Match Thread - WS Wanderers vs Leeds United (Sat 20th July)
Same old same old.....Bielsa's face was a picture at some of our missed chances
How the hell is the scoreline 0-1, typical Leeds
Positives
Our movement & attacking play is absolutely scintillating......until we shoot
Great strike from Bogusz
Harrison looking dangerous
Dallas our best defender
Hernandez clever as ever
Negatives
Bamford looking sharp as ever
Should have scored on at least five or six occasions
Clinical strikers my arse
Aussies should have scored twice, defensively we look slack at times, we won't get away with this type of defending in the championship
No leader at the back
Douglas is a fanny
I so wish we could have seen Ben White here at the back. Costa & Klich would have had a field day

Very similar to last season when it comes to possession, chances created but the early goal gives the players a bit more confidence.
Douglas awol at times and boy do we need better delivery from corners and more physical presence when the ball comes in.
But we are playing well and an early second half goal would set us up nicely

Beradi made that key tackle I think not Dallas, Beradi has been outstanding1964white wrote: ↑Sat Jul 20, 2019 10:14 am Same old same old.....Bielsa's face was a picture at some of our missed chances

1-0 to Leeds at half time. TBH Leeds look sharp. Better than I expected. I think your defence is a bit average though. Going forward, Harrison looks good. Btw, the Cooper bloke, lucky to be on the field still. He should be playing for the Rhinos not United with that swinging arm.

Much better Moth although he should have teed up Bamford although Paddy would have probably missed too!mothbanquet wrote: ↑Sat Jul 20, 2019 9:47 am Again Harrison looking a different player to last season. Looks to be making the right decisions a lot more, which wasn't hard to be fair, but still kudos to the lad.

really good break from them, nice through ball and good finish, but same as last season, our own mistakes cost us.

Bogusz, Harrison, Berra, and Dallas have all been on top of their game, Roofe's movement and added strength is impressive, Bamford is just lacking confidence right now, playing quite well
Disappointing have been Phillips and Douglas

KP absolutely awful there, no real attempt to get the ball just a token attempt but making sure he wouldn't get injured, either intercept with a tackle or hold back so the opponent doesn't have a free run. Simply ambles in with no real attempt then casually jogs back - how many times have we seen him do that before? If he is worthy of a £30k a week contract then I am gonna put my boots back on and give Bielsa a call. £20m snap it up.

Another injury, probably a hamstring
