In fact the majority of prem clubs have taken the Carabao Cup more seriously than us
Moreso Arsenal. Liverpool just playing Van Dijk and Salah from their starting XI. But that should be enough of an indication they want to win. An never bad when you've got Milner, Jota, and Minamito as your back up players

Pretty glad we didn't go for Wilson in the end. I've always quite rated him but his first touch is pretty bad. Wouldn't have been much of an upgrade if any.

Would be a underwhelming signing imo!

In retrospect, I certainly agree. If this whole RDP/Cuisance episode has shown us anything, it's that at least we're trying to be ambitious with our signings. That's some comfort.

Our only chance of winning a trophy are one of the cups. Leeds never go for the cups no matter what league we're in, we are either going for promotion, fighting relegation, consolidating, etc.

I take a European place for our lack of competitiveness in the cups :-D

Liverpool not risking much. Gomez on for Van Dijk. Origi for Salah

Forgot about that game. Is it 2 legs or 1?

Here's something to cheer you all up after the Cuisance deal falling through. Funniest goal for some time?

Ha ha, that's brilliant

Anyone else watching the U23s? 1-0 win over Unbeaten Boro, Greenwood clinical.

Jimmy Summerville has a great debut, defended well and put some excellent balls in from the byline after beating his man. Charlie Allen looked good, as did McKinstry, and Casey, Cresswell and Caprile at the back.

Good run-out for Jack Harrison too.

Summerville was brilliant in both sides of the game. Those passes were begging to be finished. Greenwood looks proper class, now to get him back behind Gelhardt and put Summerville up there, those three will do some damage together.

Really impressed with Caprille the past few games.

I think that Gelhardt would have gobbled up at least one of the loose Summerville crosses if he’d still been on the pitch.
