Have banged on about Ayling & Bamford omission from the England squad, their fitness would have been telling in those conditions today.

Ayling would have been running on the spot to burn his excess energy the game was so controlled. A game like that where Croatia sat back alot would have been perfect for Aylings raids down the right linking up with Kalvin and Foden. He wouldn't have had much defending to do England controlled the game really well i thought. I haven't watched any other games to judge it by but the tempo yesterday seemed steady and controlled without the mania you get in club football.

According to reports Marko Arnautović who is of Serbian descent went on a racist rant about Albanians after scoring and it caused Austria Captain David Alaba to physically restrain and admonish his striker.

If true Marko Arnautović should be immediately sent home from the Euros and banned.

For context North Macedonia has players of Albanian descent in the team ( Ali is one) and if you look it is Ali he is aiming his rant at, A Serbian newspaper has confirmed what he said and various people on twitter who presumably speak the language have done the same.
