That is so shocking - I’ve never seen anything like that on a pitch. Everyone there were in such a state. I’d really worry for him. I pray that he’ll survive this.

He left the field on a stretcher and was awake with an oxygen mask on. Hope he pulls through, but at least there is hope. Well done the medical staff. That was one of the most horrible things I have witnessed.

Update: UEFA reporting that he has been stabilised, and is on his way to hospital (which, luckily, is next door to the stadium)
