Bielsa style with cherries on the cake

Post by 1964white »

I thought for a moment when Kilkenny's name was mentioned it can't be, apparently not it's a kid called Gavin who scored three goals in the match with Bournemouth U23's battering Basingstoke Town

Watch Gavin Kilkenny's 2nd audacious goal

Sign him Marcelo on loan in January

Nice but it's training ground stuff. I've seen Basingstoke play in the past and they're no Aldershot Town

In Eddie Howe the Cherries probably have the best English coach that plays the European/World style.

The reason why Bournemouth have done exceptionally well to hold their own in the premiership.

The comparison between their style & Bielsaball is so similar even if they were only playing Basingstoke.

Hopefully we're the Bournemouth of the championship this season & go onto emulate their achievements in the prem!

What mid table mediocrity towards bottom of the table year in year out? They have done well with what they have but we surely have to aim higher if we get into the prem.

Ok then, surpass their status.

We may have to consolidate in our first season up & build from there

Balls to that, qualify for champions league first season back up then European Champions and League winners in season 2. Not too fussed about the cups but maybe get the FA Cup too in our first season back up. If Pep Guardiola can do it with his bunch of misfits then there is no stopping us once Bielsa converts Ayling into an attacking midfielder and Forshaw starts hitting the back of the net.

I like the way Norwich are doing it, try to stay up on a minimal spend, trust the process and that if you do stay up you'll have 200M plus to play with..

I thought your plan was plausible up until that point

The only way AF is hitting the back of the net is when his shot rebounds from the stand behind it. !
