Centenary Shirt/Events

Post by 1964white »

Only 1919 available

Our chairman certainly knows how to make money

At £150 a shirt at least ten of my pals I travel to away games with will be getting their credit cards out

Nice shirt however I'd rather spend ones dosh on my album collection giving me much more pleasure

Regardless of the price issue, I think it's totally underwhelming; a plain white shirt with that same botched badge on it. Was hoping for blue and yellow halves, or something with a bit of character.

The limited edition thing is just a scam. It shouldn't have been the normal home shirt for the season, at the regular price.

Apparently we haven't got any money

Only this boss could sell bricks to our fans with their names on them at £100 plus round the Billy statue.

Some of our fans are daft enough to fall for his financial scams

A good few of these already appeared on eBay for silly money, in the thousands.

One currently selling at >£65k  ............although must be people bidding up with no intention of paying

£65k would buy you a few albums 64 !! :)

Even our current young team dressed up for the occasion. No Kalvin in the photo

I'd be in my element, would need to spend half the money on a extension though

Hadn't spotted that. What a joke. If it was a proper retro shirt with an old badge, no sponsor, and at a normal price, I might have considered getting one.

i have a brick which was bought for me as a christmas present the other year
its probably something i wouldn't buy myself but imo its a very good idea and a lovely gift .
i'd rather have my name embedded around our billy than buy some shitty shirt.

One of my mates had a brick bought for him as a Christmas present.

Billy is my Leeds/football hero but no one could convince me to spend £100 on a brick as much as I admire his statue '63

Yep they are robbers and hypocrites. Radz won't put in £8m so we can keep a key player, but the fans are expected to shell out £150. Greed and taking advantage of our loyalty.
