So we drop our most creative midfielder Pablorab_rant wrote: ↑Thu Dec 05, 2019 2:16 pm I would keep Costa on cos he is just getting into his stride
and give Pablo some time as a super sub.
And for the delight and confusion of the fans a double spearhead up frontCode: Select all
Kiko Ayling Cooper Alioski White Costa Klich Dallas Harrison Bamford Eddie
In a past life are you sure you were not an inquisitor general? DO you plan on torturing him?
Going into this Yorkshire derby without two of our three best players would concern me particularly one being an unnecessary change. Pablo has recently returned from from a six week break, had a week's training since the Boro' game surely he is fit enough to play the next three games.rab_rant wrote: ↑Thu Dec 05, 2019 6:52 pm In a past life are you sure you were not an inquisitor general? Pablo played 3 times in one week. I was giving his old legs a break... not literally
I said bring him on when the dogs legs are tired and let him work 20 minutes of magic.
The Toreadors tire the bull out, but it is the matador that administers the coup de grace.
Pablo understands this being Spanish, but perhaps this is too fine a finesse for Yorkshire.
That will b the team, I’d love to see Eddie fit in there somewhere1964white wrote: ↑Thu Dec 05, 2019 6:37 pm Why make so many changes after three consecutive victories featuring this eleven in the main?
I reckon Bielsa will go with my preferred team, just one enforced change

Good point. He will need to be rested at times, missing games through injury isn’t a rest. Can’t seem him not starting though especially with Philips out, well want all the experience we have Saturday.rab_rant wrote: ↑Thu Dec 05, 2019 6:52 pm In a past life are you sure you were not an inquisitor general? 100% that is what the team will be.1964white wrote: ↑Thu Dec 05, 2019 6:37 pm Why make so many changes after three consecutive victories featuring this eleven in the main?

Hear hear. I don't blame people for being cagey but let's face it, if the dogs are barely psyching themselves up for a relegation fight then will the fact it's a derby make that big a difference? Our own complacency will be our biggest enemy, but with White in the team whether at CB or DM we've got the tools to handle any front line in this league.rab_rant wrote: ↑Sat Dec 07, 2019 6:25 am Press are saying this derby game is a cup final for Huddersfield. It is not. It is their relegation dog fight.
To get to a cup final you have to be worthy. They are not. They are two points above the relegation zone and were thrashed 5-2 at Bristol.
Managers in desperate situations have to try and lift the spirits of their teams, so they say things like this is their cup final and the form book goes out the window. Both statements are fallacies and are not rooted in facts. Leeds are the form team and Huddersfield have done nothing of merit to warrant that this game has the status of a cup final.
They are blowing smoke up their own arses. Cowley with all his injuries and reliance on recalled kids will most likely find himself in the same boat as Woodgate, and in the same creek festooned with fecal matter.

Exclusive: Whelan left fretting by early Leeds team news ahead of Huddersfield clash
Poor Noel, Boo Hoo the old chap is fretting, gnawing his finger nails down to the quick,
tearing what remains of his hair out, curled up on the sofa in a fetal position.
“I’m a little bit worried myself, if it pulls off it’s an absolute masterstroke,
if it doesn’t, it goes to show how important Kalvin Phillips is.”
Worry worry worry!!! why are these pundits always so negative?
Is it an inbred thing that if you support Leeds then you are not allowed to be positive.
So many years of hurt and crushed expectations, and all we hear is a broken record,
the needle stuck in the groove, repeating the same mantra of we don't deserve
anything better, and as long as we have that attitude then we will get what we believe in.
These pundits like it or not are influencers and their opinions form the attitudes of
the punters. I want nothing to do with them, and for your sanity neither should you.
Sometimes I wonder why I am so negative about people being negative
Agree, even after last weeks emphatic win there were still a lot of , but, what ifs flying around. Why not enjoy what's happening rather than fretting about what may go wrong.rab_rant wrote: ↑Sat Dec 07, 2019 9:24 am Sometimes I wonder why I am so negative about people being negative
But really they need to be batted down for the propaganda, misinformation, dubious
analysis, fear mongering, and downright negativity.
They are headline whore hunters, creating controversy where none exists.
They just need to cast their minds back to the non-foul on Izzy Brown and
Ben White striding forward with the ball from over the halfway line to slip in
an inch perfect pass for Bamford to latch onto and score a goal. Doesn't that
testify to his ability to play in the midfield and create chances. Combine that
with his ability to defend and you have something to crow about.
Why don't the pundits take that line of thought and write about that, instead
of this fretting and worrying?
