Kiko. Hands down.

Clean sheets can be a misleading statistic as the seven men in front of the keeper, as often as not, have more to do with it than the keeper himself. Not so today. Kiko was brilliant.

Berardi
Alioski (what an amazing strike)

Kiko - 2 brilliant saves won us the match.
Ayling - was everywhere.
Bamford - put in a big shift, didn't have any real chances.
Harrison - pressing and brilliant cross for the 2nd.

Harrison today

A glorious assist
the lovely crossfield ball to set up Pablo who shot just wide
the clever cross for Bamford's best chance
Some other clever passing
Other dangerous crosses
The quality work in defence, several times bringing the ball out and sending us off
The battling on the sideline getting the better of two defenders
The pressing and forcing of errors including setting Bamford up for his high and wide shot
The intense work rate..

All after a start when no one could get going ..For me the best outfield player on view today

Klich, Dallas and Ayling could easily have been in that list as well.

Tough game today and especially hard to rate as we struggled so much in the first half.

Kiko One error but he kept us in the game with two terrific saves in the first half and that wonder save to keep the score at 1-0
Harrison. Great game, some lovely crosses including the great ball in for Pablo to head home, lad is a different player when he gets the ball at pace.
Klich, worked so hard and was unlucky to score and also to get booked.
Bamford, Mr trouble, hassled their back line continually and was robbed once by a great save from their keeper and also by the linesmans flag. Dallas was not offside..
Pablo. Had so much work to do coming deeper in the absence of KP, but I think he is finding his way again since injury.
Ali. Wonderful strike. Hope the media don't make much of what looked like a nazi salute to our bench, that is all we need...

Not today sunshine but one of our other CLASS players was MOTM today....the one so many think should be rested, we'd have been f**ked without our little magician

Please enlighten me another player on the pitch with these stats

87 touches (most)🌟
82.1% pass acc.
55/67 successful passes (most)🌟
12 ball recoveries (most)🌟
4 chances created (joint-most)🌟
2 tackles won
2 shots
1 goal ⚽

Absolutely outstanding

The first time I can recall this season that I’ve put MOTM picks up and Ben White hasn’t been there. Every other time he’s been 1 or 2. Not quite so assured where MB asked him to play today.

We'd have been screwed without Harrison today, Berardi was sublime in a makeshift defence that had never played in that formation before.

White has failed to register a point IIRC for the last two games
