I like beef but not as much as I did years ago, fillet steak is beef isn't it mate?
My tastes for certain meats depends on the quality & the cooking of the actual produce.
Steak has to be medium rare
Venison needs to be undercooked
Lamb has to fall off the bone
In fact all meats need to be tender for me, not tough as old boots!
I'm with you on steak compared to roast beef although the Sunday roast we have in Barripper Cornwall is hard to beat, cooked perfectly for me!
