I best that I have had recently was a knuckle of smoked reindeer shin. it was so good I went back to get some more a few days later but they were completely sold out. Gamey Salty Smokey and as soft as a young girls thigh that has been rolling Havana cigars.

Roast beef, as long as it comes with all the trimmings.

Second would have to be a nice rare steak.

I like beef but not as much as I did years ago, fillet steak is beef isn't it mate?

My tastes for certain meats depends on the quality & the cooking of the actual produce.

Steak has to be medium rare
Venison needs to be undercooked
Lamb has to fall off the bone

In fact all meats need to be tender for me, not tough as old boots!

It is but not a joint as in sunday roast beef.
It's like saying Tony Yeboah and Steve Morison are both strikers.

Ha ha

I'm with you on steak compared to roast beef  although the Sunday roast we have in Barripper Cornwall is hard to beat, cooked perfectly for me!

Probably steak, when it's blue and really good. Tend to have lamb in curries, out of preference. Overall though, bacon and sausage.
