Nikki & Rita

Post by 1964white »

I had the pleasure of talking with Nikki & stroking her delightful guide dog Rita a few weeks ago at ER. I often hear Rita barking in the distance at away games. Nikki travels to aways with the Fullerton branch

Cats & dogs relate to me, it's how you react & talk to them. I love horses too :horse:

I know I'll get hammered for this but animals are far more loving & loyal than the human race

Very moving Paddy

I'm always amazed how someone like Nikki with her disability finds the energy, effort & commitment supporting Leeds at every home & away game. We have a chap on our coach who is severely handicapped & struggles to walk but rarely misses a Leeds game. Unbelievable support!

I'd be lost without my little one. A very heartwarming video. I love guide dogs.

Cockapoo - she is a little beauty. RE guide dogs, I always ask blind people with one, if I can pet it. Which normally ends up with a short conversation. It is only then you realise how reliant on them they are.

Lovely bit of film that, truly heartwarming.

Definite dog lover here, have a 6 yr old Staffy called Maisie who we rescued in the summer. Wouldn't be without her, she has completed our family. Loving, loyal but feisty as f**k!!

Lovely to hear Nick, great for Ruby I suspect

We rescued Casper, well he found us & he definitely landed on his paws, initially cost me over £400 veterinary fees after a couple of accidents with barbed-wire but now he's like the king of the castle, loves the comforts of indoor life, full of love bless him :moggy:

Ruby absolutely adores her, they roll about the floor together and Maisie sleeps on her bed half the time.

We had a cat adopt us a few years back, she was sadly knocked down and killed. If I lived in the country, I'd have a menagerie of animals. You're right, no home should be without a pet
