The stats show nothing more than a very average performance, probably worse than he actually played! He did ok considering it was against Arsenal, nothing beyond that

And you asked if his stats were meant to be impressive and yet no-one had said they were, they were just posted for people to see. So you weren't disagreeing with anyone.

Remains to be seen whether he will ever break through at Leeds, definitely behind Shackleton in that ‘young fringe CM-cum-RB’ role.

Either way, best of luck to him on loan, regular game time will do him a world of good.

Robbie Gotts might have put a few noses out of joint among Leeds United fans when he signed for Salford on loan but he’s starting to really turn on the style. He got his second goal in four games and the third of the game on Tuesday night as Salford put the hammer to top-of-the-league side Cambridge.
Gotts has started the last four games and played the full 90 minutes in the last three and he seems to be really picking up some momentum after being used sporadically at Lincoln.
The versatile 21-year-old has played the last two games in an attacking midfield position, after being played at full-back and at right-midfield for Lincoln.
Gotts himself tweeted after the game, saying...

The result leaves Salford in ninth place in League 2 and just two points off the play-off places. And, while Leeds fans might have a reason for wanting the club to miss out on promotion, they’re loving what Gotts is doing. He’s under contract at Leeds until 2022 and this represents a really big chance for him to get meaningful game-time ahead of the next season under Bielsa in the top-flight.
His best time in a Leeds shirt was in the FA Cup game against Arsenal. We hope he gets the chance to show the fans what he’s really made of next year.

Great news!

Can't see him being in our or around the starting eleven anytime soon but if he impresses hopefully he can get a chance in the championship next season with someone and then we can assess the situation from there

I'm a little fearful that our players currently out on loan might be a lost generation (Gotts, McCalmont, Hosannah, Stevens, Edmundson). They've all show great promise. But I see the crop coming through the 23's now and they look even better.

The ones you mention should still have a career but likely to be in Leagues 1 and 2.

Gotts & Stevens to newly promoted Barrow to the FL on frees is a hell of a drop in leagues when both were considered promising young players by many Leeds fans.

I personally thought Gotts had a good future at a decent level, never rated Stevens though.

Gotts' problem was that Shackleton is the same age and plays the same position as him. I thought he might have gone League 1.

Never rated Stevens or understood the signing. Another pointless u23 signing.

Stevens would have been fine in the Championship but we outgrew his potential, Gotts I did like though always thought he looked a little undersized for a DMF.

When we were in the Championship our U23's reflected that and there was no guarantee we'd go up in which case they would have been good and cheap additions to the first team down the road with a view to promotion. When we went up we needed better U23's and that's why we've added a few since coming up.. Our circumstances changed hence better became available and wanted to come. At no point were the old 23's a waste of money.. We've had 5 make it to the first team from our championship youth set up with power to add from the Premier 23's

He wouldn't be the first player to drop down the leagues and come back up again.
I hope he does well.
