Obligation to buy

Post by Cjay »

Based on no facts whatsoever

Hypothetically, looking at it from the point of view of Watford and Southampton.

An option to buy plus a loan fee a fraction of what the clubs paid for the 2 players isnt very appealing.

However, we already have a £15mil commitment in the summer for Helder Costa.

So the 2 most mentioned targets seem to be Che Adams and Andre Gray.

If (and i suspect it may) an obligation to buy would swing the deal, would you do it?

Fees i just made up but they seem realistic i think?

Why would we pay more for Che Adams now than saints did in the summer? His value can only have gone down
