I like the Silver Sun album too. Nice surprise that one.
Not heard the Silver Sun before? ..Bought it for my partner now in 97 with Mansun's Attack of the Gray Lantern (Which is sorely missed from this poll) when we first started going out and in an effort to move her on from the seventies and early eighties. She loves both as do I

Not a problem, my man. I'm going to buy the Anniversary, OKNOTOK vinyl over the weekend. Got the CD but just recently re-done my music room so might treat myself.

Was going to go for In Rainbows as my 2007 choice but, after the 1997 poll results, I'm reluctant to nominate it, as its could become the Radiohead show on here :) . I'll have a think.

I hope someone nominates 'In Rainbows' because it's up there with the top albums of 2007 however not my favourite album of that year

You go ahead & nominate it mate as I have a cracker that I still play regularly now. I would think you'd enjoy my pick, I know Ges & Mrs 64 do, unsure who else may vote for it though.

One of my Desert Island Discs I may add

Bon Iver - For Emma Forever Ago
Rothko - Eleven Stages Of Intervention
Dinosaur Jr - Beyond
