All I have to say on the matter '64, is we need longer to listen to these than the singles poll.....

So if you promise not to rush us, I am in.

Always going to be the case my dear Hector that's why I have kept it down to one nomination.

I suggest we all listen to one album a day as the nominations come in rather than wait until they are all in prolonging the poll even longer.

I'll try not to rush you, the more players involved the better

Have to say I'm a big fan of Martin Carhty's eponymous debut album (along with the late, great Dave Swarbrick).

But seriously, folks.

Highway 61 Revisited came out in '65.

End of story.

Highway 64 will be very tough to beat. Dylan at his best for me..Rubber Soul is a very good album too. I own both natch. The only other 65 album I own and still play will/should push BD close. It's a legendary classic

The great

John Coltrane - A Love Supreme

Nailed on classic up there with Kind of Blue Mile Davis. Considered Art Blakey and Herbie Hancock too..65 a little early for a lot of great rock/pop albums as an art form they really take off in 67

Would have picked Highway 61, but it's gone so I'll go for an outlier:

Sun Ra - Angels And Demons At Play
