I know! I'm not talking about my liking or otherwise for the music they play, just actual basic competence. Townshend is painfully limited, which hasn't stopped other people from sounding great, but he thinks he's a lot better than he is, so he's constantly showing himself up. He makes me cringe, genuinely.

Bowie just misses out. Could have been any order for my top 5 just depends on mood and how often I have listened to them.

Cracking year though- interestingly what some regard as the best album of all time - What's going on never even got nominated!

Was 1971 mate. 'Let's Get It On' was 73.

Ah the wonderful Radiohead :-D

DSOTM although not my favourite by Floyd is still the best album on that list, superb production & still sounds great with the headphones on imo!
