Does that set a precedent for a greatest hits ? I'm not sure

Abba's Greatest hits sold a few million too, but that wouldn't be allowed. I don't know if this is a collection or a studio/concert set, the latter would be fine

The one rule is original work, no greatest hits or compilations

Just name checked you on waccoe 64. The music forum is getting a bit decent recently

As an off thought and speaking of waccoe have you or anyone else "spoken" to Martyn recently (Guildford White/Marmite). He left Waccoe in March or at least went quiet. Left messages here and there for him but to no avail. Thought he might be lurking on that 606 thing or something. Would be good to know he's doing alright

Still a lot of good stuff out there. Did the Beta Band's 3 EP's go yet. Name checked on Hi Fidelity of course..great band.

Also

At the Drive In's - In/Casino/Out is a great album
Air's Moon Safari
Billy Bragg/Wilco - Mermaid Avenue
Outkast - Aquemini - I love Outkast but maybe now surpassed by Anderson .Paak

I saw the thread on waccoe someone started when he left. Not posting on 606, with any of his previous user names.
Not been on Twitter for ages but was friends with him on there years ago, I'll check if he's tweeting and let you know.

Haven't heard from Martyn in a long time, he maybe reading on here, still very active on twitter so I assume he is o.k.

Nothing on my opening post of this topic Smudge but over a period of time compilations, greatest hits, best of albums were made unacceptable in these polls. Only studio/live albums allowed

Not tweeted on his social media account since May but found him after I remembered his surname, he tweeted about 7 hours ago. Tried to contact him but had a message saying he can't be messaged. Used to have his phone number but lost it along with others during a phone change.

But he is alive and well
