I think this might be my favourite year. Despite the fact that a load of great albums have been done previously (including what might be my favourite of all time), I still have only managed to whittle down my latest nomination to 1 of a possible 7.

Seven only ...

I wish I had 7

Zappa
Public Image
Both Joe Jackson's
XTC
Wire
Bad Company
Stevie Wonder's concept album
Ricky Lee Jones
Graham Parker
I do rate Tusk and The Lodger as under rated
B52's sublime debut
The Damned
Black Uhuru
Setting Sons
The Jones Girls
Ian Dury's Do It Youself
Ry Cooder's best
The Only Ones
Swell Maps

I'll stop there for a minute

The reason I decided to go with another round of Album of the Year polls as so many like your good self have mentioned how tough it is choosing just one nomination.

Let's have photos of everyone's music collection as based on this thread there are some that go into multiple thousands. This is something that I'd like to see as my own sizeable collection went years ago😔 clown.

I flogged mine when we emigrated to Canada MJS, two bad decisions :(

At least all The Jam and Stray Cats stuff went to mates who were fanatics, so they went to good homes 8-)
