Australian Open Tennis

Post by Norm »

I haven't noticed a thread on here - apologies if there is one.

Djokovic plays Federer in one semi-final and I just watched a thrilling match to see Dominic Thiem beat Rafa in 4 sets to meet Zverev in the other semi.

Andy Murray recovered from a hip injury only to pull out of the Aussie Open with a pelvic problem.
I keep hoping he'll get back to winning at least the occasional slam but so far he doesn't seem to stay injury-free long enough.
I feel for the lad.

Shocked to see Nadal exit. Fully expect he will surpass Federer's total of 20 majors. He'll probably win the French until he's 40.

...but not the other 3 - I think he may beat Roger's total, but when you think of it, Federer has dragged them all along with him.
RF is the most consummate professional I've ever seen in tennis.
