Re: Leeds Utd v Bristol City Match Thread - Unchanged Starting XI, Roberts returns to the bench
Great performance.
Carried on from Brentford.
Full credit to everyone as similarly to Brentford we made a promotion rival look distinctly average.
Clean sheet for Kiko hope that helps him.
How in the blue hell we only scored 1 i will never know and when Wells went through time seemed to slow down!!!!
Defence was solid, midfield ran the show, Costa and JH worked so hard and were constant threats
Paddy was lively and worked hard, wont criticise the miss because he will know.
JKA had little chance but with the oje moment he had he showed quick feet and a good touch, his runs off the ball are very clever.
Pleased MB is finally starting to take Pablo off later in games, he has to.
We should have scored a lot more as usual but a 1-0 is enough to keep the momentum up.
Fulham has a total collapse vs Barnsley !!!!
Cant say much about Bristol City because nothing to say, they were outclassed.
When it clicks we are easily the best side in the league, no disrespect to WBA,Fulham etc but on days like today its obvious.
Great day.

Well done boys. Should of got 3 or 4 but clean sheet was imperative. Heart in mouth for half the second half.
All the other results went our way. If we play like we have the last 2 games we are going up for sure.

Good performance, particularly the first 30 where Bristol were caught in the headlights.

Just need composure with final ball and finishing. Jka one effort looks like he has an eye for goal.

Thoroughly enjoyed that, what a well deserved win, and the perfect time to start our resurgence.
Ayling a beast today, and a great double act with Costa. Didn't think Pablo was as bad as some are saying, he certainly had his moments. Klich, Phillips, Harrison, Cooper, Dallas, all playing out of their skin. PB still frustrating when it counted, but good game otherwise. Kiko survived.

What was most pleasing for me was the energy we had everywhere.
After the last few midweek games games we have looked well off but not today.
Everyone played their part and although Jakey only had 15 mins he showed me enough to give confience that he get us a few goals.
Next up a resurgent Reading side who we stole a point off earlier in the season.
They rolled the wendies 3-0 at Ills boro and are now only 11 points off playoffs.
This league is nuts.

Just read Johnson press conderence, he is claiming they should have had a pen when Ayling handled it?
I remember him chesting it but did he handle it?

Standard performance today - what we have seen all season. Dominated the match, created lots of chances. SImilar to in our winning run we managed to take 1 of the numerous chances and the opposition didn't score with their 1 chance or get a helpful decision from the ref. Small margins dictate our results.
