Great news for Gaetano

I wonder if he will play for Leeds this season after his horrific injury at Derby, not heard any news when he is likely to be back in training :duno: Berardi has comeback a few times from seirous injuries so you can't rule this man out from making a return

Just read Berardi is continuing his recovery with the medical team at Thorp Arch over the coming months.

So thrilled to see this. Berardi is side before self every time.

Very proud to be a Leeds fan right now. The club acted honorably.

Absolutely the right thing to do even if he doesn't end up playing any games.
Such a sad end of last season for him personally.

One of my favourite players over the last 5 year, difficult to imagine he gets back to play this season though.

I don't see him playing for us again. We've signed multiple better players in his position. Many clubs would have just given him a handshake. Great to see Leeds - Radrizzani doing the right thing by a loyal player. We'll take care of his medical and return to fitness, but I'm sure he'll have a role to play on the training ground and with the youngsters too.

I've loved so many things that Radrizzani has done in creating an identity and culture at the club. This says that we'll take care of our own. He said in one of the documentaries or interviews that he'd always make sure Leeds players had a future with the club in some capacity. And this just proves it. It's something the fans can truly appreciate and connect with.
We've been through it all together. And we've had our ups and downs

Doubt we’ll see him take the field again but great gesture by the club, the guy put his body on the line for the club and they repaid the faith, great stuff

Agreed - wonderful player and man.

Also so pleased with Radz for looking after him.

Maybe a coaching job with any luck, or we get him fit again for a new challenge

Absolutely the right thing to do, guy said in an interview this week (and I'm paraphrasing) that sustaining injury was a price he was willing to pay for promotion. Typifies the side before self attitude that seems to pervade the club right now. Kudos to Radz and co for looking after one of our own.
