QPR moaning
QPR are 'appalled' and 'vehemently opposed' to the re-start of The Championship on 20th June, citing that it's not long enough to have their players ready for action. What do you think....is it too soon, or have their players all returned to training having not been properly managed/monitored over the lockdown?

Re: QPR moaning
10 positive tests the day before yesterday, no teams will be match fit anyway including ours. Can't remember if QPR's season is already dead anyway tbh

Re: QPR moaning
QPR don't have anything riding on the restart, so it's not like they would be heavily affected by it. There hasn't been a set date for players to build up to. It's not exactly set in stone either. There's needs to be a concrete date and the season needs to be finished, not stopped again if there is another outbreak.
Re: QPR moaning
Charlton players are saying they don't want to play as well, so there will be legal ramifications from them if they were to go down.

Re: QPR moaning
I have every sympathy for any club not wanting to play on...there's nothing fair or football with finishing the last 9 games in a rush after a 3 month lay off (no friendlies to get you up to speed) behind closed doors or at a neutral venue. Especially if you have nothing to play for in terms of league position and in terms of making their fans proud at the ground by beating a contender or rival

Re: QPR moaning
I thought it was players out of contract that didnt want to play SG, for fear of getting injured. I know one of them is expected to be making a big money move. Lee Bowyer seems to have accepted that the 3 wont play and says he'll just get on with it
Re: QPR moaning
It's a difficult one faaip. What is the answer? Clubs don't want the season ended on a points per game system, so the season has to be played out.faaip wrote: ↑Mon Jun 01, 2020 5:56 pm I have every sympathy for any club not wanting to play on...there's nothing fair or football with finishing the last 9 games in a rush after a 3 month lay off (no friendlies to get you up to speed) behind closed doors or at a neutral venue. Re: QPR moaning
If individuals prefer not to play fine, they will effectively be playing in an environment safer than going to the local shop, with the testing etc.
No play no pay, pretty simple.
The Charlton players are ones not wanting injury before moving on at the end of contracts.
Anyone see Tyrone Mings moaning about project restart being based purely on finances . No s**t sherlock wonder if thinks that when picking up the the paycheck
