Toss & start time could be delayed due to rain
Re: England v West Indies - Test Match
There is still some activity out on the outfield but a lot of the players are in the dressing room as the drizzle falls.
Ben Stokes has his feet up. It doesn't look like captaincy has changed him. Sam Curran is next to him with a face mask around his chin.
The 'new normal'.

He may not play in this match but Stuart Broad looks like he's off to play Roger Federer over five sets at Wimbledon.

You could be right...
Nap of the day will be getting busy as I will be having loads if I try to watch the cricket...........
Re: England v West Indies - Test Match
As I was typing that, I looked up and now its raining again
Re: England v West Indies - Test Match
No sign or rain up here
I'll resist reading this topic from here on in case play resumes so I can watch the highlights on BBC 2 at 7pm without knowing the score
Meanwhile Swannie enjoy whacking Hector

3 month wait for a bit of cricket and the first day is largely a wash out

Watched the highlights show at 7pm
Only 20 minutes of the actual highlights shown due to the poor weather, 40 minutes of chit-chat
Looking at these West Indies bowlers I reckon some of our wickets could tumble like skittles

Building into a good test match, 2nd best so far but if England can get a 200ish run lead could be interesting.

204 all out was a poor start to this seriesByebyegeegee wrote: ↑Fri Jul 10, 2020 7:03 pm Building into a good test match, 2nd best so far but if England can get a 200ish run lead could be interesting.
Stokes our highest scorer with 43, Burns, Buttler & Bess made 30+ runs, not great
Wood & Archer will have bowl much better if we wish to win this match
Far too many wasted short balls from the pair of them
