Swift would be a good signing

If we're signing them for the first team, then great that would be wonderful. But we've signed so many u23s in the last 3 years who haven't got close to the starting XI.dezzy wrote: ↑Fri Aug 07, 2020 7:41 pm The 23s are a vital part of any club. We’ve built it up from the ground over the past few seasons. We’re not anywhere near what Chelsea have done. All the young fellas linked are quality and essential. We will bring in 4/5 players for our first team. We’re back in the premiership for the first time in years I cannot see how you think they lack ambition, we’re in a great position and are building towards being a top club again

Promising development with the club set to sign Scott Mist. Very versatile player, covers a lot of ground.

Calciomercato reporting we've spoken to Nicolas Gonzalez's representatives and he wants to play under Bielsa. Sign him up

Yes but, No but, Yes but, I heard that he can't stand the heat... when things get to hot he just seems to evaporate away, and disappear, an then it is like playing with 10 men.Overman wrote:Promising development with the club set to sign Scott Mist. Very versatile player, covers a lot of ground.
Me, I prefer Sean Nile... might be a bit old but has got lots of experience

Allegedly we have had two bids for Ben White turned down by Brighton ( £18.5M and then £22M ) according to Sky Sports News . Don’t know how reliable a source they are .
Re: The "Summer" Transfer Window 20/21 season
Just seen this myself. I have had a slight change of heart. I think we should go to £25m and then step away. The lads a fantastic player. Credit to the club for putting up the money, i have no doubt that White wants it, Bielsa wants it, the fans want it. Come on Brighton do the deal.
Re: The "Summer" Transfer Window 20/21 season
I’m certain they’d rather sell White than Dunk or Duffy. There is a deal to be done, just depends whether we are willing to pay the price.Leeds1000 wrote: ↑Sat Aug 08, 2020 4:27 pm Just seen this myself. I have had a slight change of heart. Over £20mil for any 2nd division player is madness.
You could probably get Foyth and Quarta for £25mil.
Ben was class for us last season but we seem to be doing what we always do, focusing on 1 player.
Personally id be interested to see what MB can do with Foyth whose already a full international with Premier league experience and would cost half the price.
The domestic market for English players is insane and we should be looking abroad imo.
That being said id be delighted if we got Ben back

I also liked Robbie Keane, but O’Leary refused to play him. He picked Viduka and Fowler every game.andrewjohnsmith wrote: ↑Fri Aug 07, 2020 7:25 pm I was excited when we signed Robbie Keane, but after that it all seemed to be out of control. I believed that if the club were spending the money, they must have it. Risdale was the one who knew what the books looked like. He made a huge mistake.
Ridsdale must have been wondering why he spent 11 mil on a player who would never play.
And don’t start me on Huckerby.

Doesnt seem we are chasing either though.
Phil Hay said if we dont get White he has heard we are looking at some 18 year old from Man City who is barely on nodding terms with Pep.
Benrahma and White would cost £50mil, utter madness to pay that for 2 2nd division players.

Palace refusing to up their £12mil bid for Eze.
If we are willing to pay £18-22mil for White surely Eze is worth that to?
Forget Benrahma
Hopefully we arent desperate enough to up the bid for White.
Just go get Foyth and Eze.

Taylor Harwood-Bellis. I'd be surprised if they sold him since Garcia will be leaving.Cjay wrote: ↑Sat Aug 08, 2020 6:12 pm Doesnt seem we are chasing either though.

Plus he wouldn't cost £20m, so I'd imagine that'd be alongside someone else.
Re: The "Summer" Transfer Window 20/21 season
I would love to see Eze at Leeds. He's got great skill, but is he a Bielsa type of player? I would take a gamble on the kid and let Marcelo work is magic.
Re: The "Summer" Transfer Window 20/21 season
Only buying 1cb sadly so if it was him for some ridiculous reason that would be it.
may as well slap down a 20mil bid for Garcia while we at it.
Im getting worried about our transfer business, hope we arent expecting MB to perform a miracle again.
