At least you don't have to worry about the new season starting too close to the Champions League

Embarrassingly out of his depth. The BBC report says it all;
“Chelsea conceded 79 goals in all competitions this season, an average of 1.44 per game.

That's their worst ratio in a season since the 1990-91 campaign, when they conceded 1.64 goals per game conceded.

Plenty for Frank Lampard to think about over the summer.”

That would be an understatement!

Leave him be, it’s not his fault. It’s never his fault.

Anyway, if they sack him well never get to see him and Bielsa in adjacent technical areas again. 😂

Guessing the Germans had been up to no good ......spying maybe ? Lampard is the biggest moaning winger in the modern game IMO . I believe West Ham fans hate him as much as we do .

Never seen a manager protected by the media as much as him. MOTY? Chelsea have sacked every manager in his position before, some in better positions. Imagine how unbearable the media would be if he actually achieved something.

I honestly believe we'll give some of the big teams a scare particularly at ER, if only we had the crowds there to intimidate the opposition

Plus we will actually take the game to them and not stick ten men behind the ball like everyone else.

Too much too soon ? Where would he go from Chelsea ? Certainly not another top 5 side IMO , not good enough or experienced enough , couldn't see him wanting another Derby type or struggling side so the only realistic option would be next England manager . Chelsea will expect results and/or trophies and will run out of patience sooner or later . Lampard IMO is all about hype , behind all that there is little actual substance . He has got and will get away with more than many previously else's managers due to being Lampard , but patience WILL run out .

Managed okay but not in any way overachieved at club level.
Won no trophies.
English

Yup he fits all the criteria needed for the FA to appoint him.

Blaming his players is only going to end one way. Smug, entitled and out of his depth, you love to see it.

As other have said, i cant understand the amount of praise he has gotten.

For winning nothing, being outclassed vs Arsenal and Bayern.

Conceding an astounding amount of goals.

And the media ignoring the fact Pulisic was signed to REPLACE Hazard so the excuse of no Hazard doesnt wash either, they spent a ton replacing him.

Red Rom has clearly realised that you have to get as many talented players in as possible and hope they can save Frank (like Mount and Wilson did).

Chelsea have made some quality signings, clearly going for the individuals covering the managers ass approach.

Its a hard life Frank

Took Derby backwards but the press talked him up.

Took Chelsea backwards but the press talked him up.

Uncle Harry got him job interviews and talked him up whenever he could to his mates in the media.

Yet he complains still

He is managing £100,000,000s worth of talent, STOP MOANING AND MAKING EXCUSES!!!!

Klopp, Pep, Mourinho have won stuff and get the respect that gives (but are all no stranger to criticism)

Arteta and Ole havent and get criticism for poor form same as you do

How is it different?

Well said CJ, I think Lumpard lay's awake all night looking at his picture of Bielsa on his ceiling and saying "why don't I get the same respect"...

He is without doubt the biggest most selfish whining tw*t in football...
