Charlie Allen
Leeds United are pleased to announce the signing of Charlie Allen from Northern Irish outfit Linfield for an undisclosed fee.
The 16-year-old has penned a three year deal at Elland Road, running until the summer of 2023.
Allen became Linfield’s youngest ever debutant at the age of 15 and will initially link up with the club’s Under-18s.
Re: Charlie Allen
I wish there was a bit more activity concentrated on new signings for the Premier League next season.

Re: Charlie Allen
Deja vu at the minute, loads of u23s we get all excited about and agree hot prospects for the future then we see little to nothing of them.
Re: Charlie Allen
A real statement of intent here, a few more signings of this calibre and we should be sorted for the Premiership.
Welcome on board Charlie!

Re: Charlie Allen
It's a tough market at the moment, the 'Rona has burst the insanity bubble a bit in the transfer market and clubs are either holding onto players for dear life or getting very greedy to alleviate the considerable financial difficulties so many of them are facing. It's going to be rough, especially without a good season or two of Premier League money behind us.

I did say during lockdown that the transfer market would be flat prior to the 2020/21 seasonmothbanquet wrote: ↑Tue Aug 11, 2020 11:44 am It's a tough market at the moment, the 'Rona has burst the insanity bubble a bit in the transfer market and clubs are either holding onto players for dear life or getting very greedy to alleviate the considerable financial difficulties so many of them are facing. I know this is from the Daily Star but it’s quoting Jim Magilton, interesting bit of background:

He was definitely someway of the 1st team. But always a solid performer for the 21's. Hope the move works well for him.
