FA Cup/EFL Cup - Semi-Final Draw Up

Post by SG90 »

https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/53765807

Next season there will be no FA Cup replays and the EFL cup semis will only be one leg to help ease fixture congestion.

Probably won't be a popular opinion, but I'd love to see us put out a strong team in both cups and have a cup run. Our last cup final was in 1996, so I barely even remember that. We're also 8 games down on last season, so why not?

This would be great to see.

All depends on where we are in the league, staying up needs to remain the priority at all costs

He should, as their best chance of silverware.

But just not this year as Brentford reach their first ever major semi final. The noose must be tightening around SBs neck

I reckon they will too, a tad unlucky last season.

So three of the big clubs Citeh, Manure & Spurs are into the semi-final along with Brentford.

Despite our propensity to lose cup matches, you would have thought that Bournemouth and then Fulham/Burnley were definitely wins within our grasp. Though the same could be said of Crawley of course.

Barnsley have played very well in the first half. Unlucky not to be in the lead.

Would have given our fans even more to look forward to this season.

The Final would be a anti-climax though as Citeh will win the cup anyway.
