Apparently Stoke are looking for 8 million. I always thought he was a quality keeper. Probably on a level with where Nigel Martyn was when we signed him.

Good keeper, at £8m we could do a lot worse.

Not sure how good he is with his feet though, that is an absolutely key component to the way we play

Never in a million years. He was awful all through this season and isn't attuned to our style of play.

3 or 4 years ago maybe but he has been poor for a long while now and with keepers it is unlikely you ever back to your best after a prolonged slump.
