What a blow

At that price he looked a bargain too.

Hope we don't panic but now.

A shame this fell through, looked to be a great signing

Just watched Benrahma's reverse nutmeg goal against Fulham. He is a wizard.
He was pointing to the name on his shirt as if to say come and get me.

True enough. We got pretty excited because a new MF would've been the last piece of the puzzle but there really is no massive urgency. Not enough to get taken for a ride with an injured or injury-prone player who could've snapped in half in his first murderball session.

Interesting that the injury thing only came out now. I do wonder if Lewandowski had something to do with it?

Most papers are suggesting it was not medical but a problem between the clubs with the financials.

Which sounds familiar.

Exactly. Not the end of the world. We'll still be quality without him

Athletic are saying that, some others are suggesting otherwise. I'm just laughing at the 'injury prone' jibes that are coming out.

The guy has missed 10 games in 5 seasons due to injury 😂

Better than an injured Cuisance though :?

If his attitude is right then I think he can push on and do very well with us

How much game time would he gotten with Klich in midfield, Rodrigo will be our ten. We didn't pay 27M for him to back up Bamford. Doubt he'd have replaced Kalvin either
This is Tinker and my name is er...Spengford Bloke, some kind of robber or ne'er do well

You raise a good point Faaip.

He only turned 21 last month so perhaps was one for the longer term. Was most likely being bought with that enganche role in mind, would rather see him playing there than Roberts.

Worrying about having too much quality on the bench rather than not enough would be a nice problem to have :) having competition for places only raises the bar
