Re: Sports Newsflash
Spanish second seed Nadal has lost only two matches in 16 years at Roland Garros but faces a tough test against the in-form Serb in today's final.
Djokovic, one of the men to beat Nadal there, has lost only one match in 2020 - when he was defaulted at the US Open.
"I know to play against Novak, I need to play my best," Nadal, 34, said.

What about cycling 64?
Yesterday British ride Alex Dowsett, who is from Maldon, Essex won stage 8 of the Giro d'Italia. It was his first stage win in a grand tour event for 9 years.
He was in a group of six who broke away from the peloton early in the race and he himself broke away to claim victory.
An awesome ride.
These guys can average 30+mph for over 100 miles, supreme levels of fitness.

Re: Sports Newsflash
I think at this point we seriously have to consider whether Nadal is simply the greatest tennis player who ever lived.
Djokovic is one of the four or five greatest ever and Nadal is absolutely demolishing him. I get it that this is a clay court, but he's about to tie Federer with his twentieth grand slam title and, at the age of thirty-four, shows no sign of slowing down.
Incredible sustained excellence. Never really been his biggest fan (I'm a Federer fan myself), but it really is impossible to ignore Nadal's dominance.

Nadal wins again. He's nigh on unbeatable in this tournament. His record is unbelievable.

No question he's unbelievable and just about unbeatable on clay - but don't forget he's good but not so omnipotent on any other surface.Lorimer46 wrote:
