Re: LUFC Injury/Suspension Thread
Was good to see Pablo back in training in the clip doing the rounds the other day... will help greatly if the meastro is fit again
Side before self & MOT
Re: LUFC Injury/Suspension Thread
We should rename this topic 'Forshaw's Treatment Room'
Forshaw will get more mentions on here than any match day thread

So happy to see one of our most influential players little legs running around the training pitch like a good unSmudge3920 wrote: ↑Mon Oct 12, 2020 11:41 pm Was good to see Pablo back in training in the clip doing the rounds the other day... will help greatly if the meastro is fit again

Re: LUFC Injury/Suspension Thread
Groin injuries are notoriously difficult to recover from and its not the first time it has caused Pablo problems since he's been with us.
I desperately want him to be fit but age is not on his side and I think he will miss as many games as he plays this season so the team need to learn to get by without him.
Whether it is Rodrigo, Raphinha, Cantwell or whoever, we need to be preparing someone to fill his boots.

Pablo will be alright, always comes back like a boomerang as his Leeds appearances record shows:Chilli D wrote: ↑Tue Oct 13, 2020 9:13 am Groin injuries are notoriously difficult to recover from and its not the first time it has caused Pablo problems since he's been with us.

2016/17 - 35
2017/18 - 41
2018/19 - 39
2019/20 - 36
Actually prior to his Leeds career the most games Pablo played in a season was 33
This season will be easier for Pablo as we have brought in more of his quality type into our squad, hopefully we won't be totally reliant on Hernandez producing the goods for us this season.
I have no doubts about Pablo impressing in the PL

Re: LUFC Injury/Suspension Thread
Most of pablo's injuries seem to occur in the warm ups too!
Re: LUFC Injury/Suspension Thread
Love Pablo but i do wonder how much he has left?
He has been nursing injuries by his own admission since the season restarted in June. He could only manage 45 minutes a game.
He didnt look right vs Liverpool either and generally with Pablo if he isnt on song then he most likely isnt fit.
I doubt he has 90minutes in him these days.
So do you start him or have him on the bench?
Certainly capable of making the difference on the pitch but his legs are clearly going on him imo.

Same as Smudge. I think he'll still be a key bench player. Could make quite an impact in the 2nd half against tiring legsCjay wrote: ↑Tue Oct 13, 2020 3:28 pm Love Pablo but i do wonder how much he has left?

We've been through it all together. And we've had our ups and downs

I've never doubted Pablo's quality, influence & importance he gives to our teamandrewjohnsmith wrote: ↑Thu Oct 15, 2020 3:37 pm Same as Smudge. I think he'll still be a key bench player. Could make quite an impact in the 2nd half against tiring legs
I remember the days when we had Saiz, Alioski & Pablo in our ranks & some on here were saying we can't play all three in our in the same team suggesting we drop Hernandez to the bench.....crazy but true!
Re: LUFC Injury/Suspension Thread
From the O/S
Leeds United Under-23s forward Sam Greenwood has picked up an ankle injury on international duty, whilst representing England at youth level.
Greenwood had been in fine form for the Under-23s, netting five goals in three games and picked up the Premier League 2 Player of the Month Award for September.
The striker is set to miss the next three to four weeks and we wish Sam a speedy recovery.

Re: LUFC Injury/Suspension Thread
Pablo is fine according to MB so thankfully his name can come off this list.
Re: LUFC Injury/Suspension Thread
Just added Berardi to the list
Re: LUFC Injury/Suspension Thread
Bit worried that Struijk and KP may soon join this list.
Also is it possible to pin it so dont have to go searching?
