Paddy finally training and if I am not mistaken is that Robin Koch as well?
Yea that is RK, Paddy needs to practice ball control looking at that.

Definitely Robin Koch.

It will be weeks before they are ready for the PL.

Good to see them back in training.

Re: LUFC Injury/Suspension Thread 23/11/21 Bamford and Koch update

Do we recall Mateus Bogusz in January to give us a little more creativity in midfield? I thought he was the man to replace Pablo when he departed and despite the drop in grade, appears to be doing well with Ibiza.

I suspect Kinnear is looking at Bamford, Koch and Firpo returning as 3 'new' signings coming into January and I personally don't expect a lot of activity. Despite playing much better this past fortnight, we are still short of goals and it's not like our defence will keep us up.

Have we got a call back clause ?
To have one we would likely be paying part of his salary and don't think we are, could be wrong though.
Think its a big step anyway from the Spanish 2nd division to the prem so doubt it.
Not sure how he's doing, I read a while ago that MB watches recordings of all the games involving our players out on loan.

Paddy back up top with Rodrigo playing behind him for me is our best option this year.

For information. We have 2 players on 4 yellows at the moment - Rodrigo, Cooper. 2 players on 3 - Roberts, Llorente.

Five yellows accumulated before match week 19 results in a one-match ban.- 26th Dec
Ten yellows accumulated by week 32 will result in a two-match ban. - 9th April
Fifteen yellows by week 38 means a three-match ban.

Thanks.

Will add the players to the first post if and when they reach 4 yellows.

Indeed :verysad:

Not added Paddy yet but given the gossip columns are 2 for 2 it probably won't be to long.

As it stands 8 of MB's first choice 18 are out bs Arsenal.

Robin Koch a 9th member hasnt played for months and is unlikely to be match sharp.

Excellent

Bamford has a hip issue.

Funny that so many of our players get those.

Forshaw, Bamford, KP, Klich, Harrison.

Most common cause of hip issues in athletes? Overuse.

Won't remove Roberts or Gelhardt yet as don't want to jinx them.

Jesse Marsch has confirmed a long held suspicion that Bielsa was overusing the squad.

Injured players were being rushed back before full fitness and being played when Bielsa knew they had injuries and consequently they became reinjured.

They were also being overloaded in training and the consequences of that are for all to see

Bielsa is very much largely responsible for our injury issues.

I think we all suspected that.
Good to know Marsch has seen that already.
