Patrick Bamford's offside against Crystal Palace on 7 November was called 'the worst decision in the history of football'
Changes to the offside law have been discussed at a meeting of football’s lawmakers with a view to favouring the attacker.
The use of video assistant referees has resulted in several controversial borderline calls this season.
But at a meeting of Ifab’s football and technical panels on Monday, talks were held about making the law “more attractive and dynamic”.
It was also shown how VAR could be used at lower levels of football.

Strange that, but when I heard the words more attractive I also immediately thought of stockings and suspenders

Hopefully they make it more black and white. They should judge it on the feet. All that nonsense about heads, bellies, and t-shirts is just stupid.

We'll call them both the Leeds variation. They'll probably enforce an in season change and we'll concede a goal the very next game from someone who's arm is offside...bank on it. A

Ahh that thread, I decided very early it was not for me...and stayed well clear. Think I read the first few posts and decided it was 30 years past it's best.
