Some of the Colemanballs feature lines in Private Eye were a great giggle as well.
Most people will recall two of the most famous
David Coleman himself when describing Alberto Juantorena winning the 1976 Olympic 400m and 800m gold medals in Montreal - 'The Big Cuban opens his legs and shows his class' (which I think was his first foot in mouth comment that started the whole Colemanballs thing in the first place).
Aggers and Johnno on TMS with the 'He didn't get his leg over' comment, which caused sniggering hysteria in the commentary box and is still one of the funniest sporting clips to listen to IMO
Any particular other favourites out there ?

Only one word for that: magic darts!
For some reason, one that's stayed with me from Coleman is the delightfully nonsensical:
He came out of there like an absolute rabbit.
Philosophers have been pondering the concept of the absolute rabbit ever since.
