Keith Emerson (preferably with his arthritis cured so that he could play keyboards again - the cause of his suicide).

Re: Who would it be?
As a Stranglers fan of over 40 years I would have to say Dave Greenfield the keyboard player . So integral to The Stranglers sound and unfinished business in their presumably last album and last major tour . Many other musicians I could name ........Lemmy , pretty much all of The Ramones , JJ Bedsore (The Blood ) , Nidge Miller ( Blitz ) ..............but really for me has to be DG . Can't imagine anyone else on stage in his place .

Leonard Cohen for his mixing of Christianity and Zen Buddhism with a good dash of sex, and with a little bit of Judaism mixed in as well.
Who would have thought that the verses of a ballad of an absent mare would follow so closely the Zen poem "Ten Bulls"
And did he get the idea from Catch bull at four?
if you like your music mystical then Len is your man
