Did our best, no shame in that loss. Chelsea just too good, especially in the second half which they controlled.

Second half we haven't turned up, Scum had too much pace and skill for us to cope, with it.

FT 3 -1
Probably the worst performance I’ve seen this season, even the two 4 - 1s, but Chelsea were a good side, strong, technical and matched us for fitness - can’t complain about that result.

Hey ho, never mind. We'll make it up against the Hammers. It'll be another Villa game.

poveda is crap lightweight and pushed off the ball will never score or look threatening harrison is the same runs all day NOTHING ever comes off it, bamford will score (not many) but will allways be picked. i cant see us spending in january seeing that we have spent 100m so far. a bit worrying that no goals are coming from anywhere else. we need to start games with full squad at least the 4 players we bought, koch, lorrente, raphinha, rodrigo and also hernandez needs to be right there, there is no creativity in midfield without him.

Fairly even first half but totally outplayed by a better team in the second half.
The pivotal moment came when Raphinha missed the double chance from the corner.
No disgrace in this result, they've only lost one league game all season.
Rodrigo needs to start the next game.
I have to say, Cooper was our best player tonight.

Lost to a better team. First time I've seen us look like we ran out of gas.

Spent all day chasing the ball, especially in the second half.

Our inability to defend corners was key today. They easily could have had two or three other goals from corners.

We're not a top four side yet, but I suppose we knew that.

Their tactic of high press created a massive hole in midfield.

Our lads didnt have the individual quality to cope man to man.
While Harrison was poor the beginning of the second half taking him off for Poveda was imo too early and gave them the impetus.

Poveda will be fine against poorer teams that park the bus...But nice to see we've found a new scapegoat as Roberts isn't getting match time

Our fitness levels mean't we out ran Championship sides, now the Prem is a different scenario, we looked out of our depth with 15 to go

Second half was worrying, the gulf in class was there for all to see. We still have too many Championship players in the side. Whatever the question is, Poveda is clearly not the answer.

I think we get a draw in Koch plays the whole game and we start Rodrigo...

Well we were expected to lose and did.

The man for man system against more talented individuals was shown for the accident waiting to happen it is. Chelsea have better individuals all over the pitch and it just needed 1 to beat his man and they were in.

Cooper was shite for the 2nd, Dallas was for the 3rd

Did ok 1st half but non existent 2nd.

1st time we have looked outmatched, Chelsea just have far better players. We also looked tired imo which is a worry.

That being said our set piece defending is pathetic.

We still have to many Championship players protected by the system, today it wasnt enough and quality shone through.

Takes time to build a Prem side.

Bah.

We looked listless and out of ideas the whole second half.

Worse, Chelsea go top with the win.

Horrible.

Deserved result, they were the better team, but to be expected with the better players. Raphinha chance at 1-1 and Poveda at 2-1 should've done better. We need to be playing Rodrigo when we play the better teams, we need his quality and Harrison needs to justify his starting position every week. Unfortunately we'll have to hear the media fawning over Fat Frank, still don't think they'll win owt though despite the millions he's spent.
